I like my seasons too cosy. Though I prefer cool over warm, since you can always put clothes on. At some point, in public, it becomes unacceptable to take off more clothes. Though I do like my warmth too. And I love seasons. Winter definitely makes you appreciate spring more.

I like how in winter, you can still be near to none clothing, but in summer its just so hard to wear too much. Cold is definately my better ally. In hong kong it tends to go cold for one week and then hot for the next, i swear being sick is common because temperatures are escalating all over the place lol.

It's nice to see new people here. Well we still have over 50000 homes without power in Mass. I know how bad it is from Irene, but we didn't have the cold to endure.

oy, I remember a few times that the power went out and tons of people were out for days (one of my friends a few years ago was part of a big power outage--at the time we were going to japan...he had to pospone his departure date until the power came back on...).
had sushi for dinner...and its time to find my coat---getting pretty cool at night...

I used to live in India, power cuts every 30 mins. Was a crazy place to live in. Funny enough around that time living there, is when i started playing GW, was hell hard, dropped out of so many groups due to my connectivity problems

havent been out with my family in ....hm 18 years?... we seem to only get together for weddings and funerals (and hope to not have the later any time soon!--though hope my oldest nephew gets a gf soon, 30 and still not married!! my oldest niece had a bf and they were planning on getting married--but...????? guess it fell thru)....hubby's parents are divorced so the only time I have seen them in the same room was our wedding.....though they have sort of buried the hatchet so to speak a few years ago over a death in the family (I did say weddings and funerals tend to bring families together)......
kinda hard to get together when you lives hundreds (thousands) of miles apart.
made quesadillas for dinner..yum!

nothing better than a good dinner awesome that you cook for yourself also! i'm obsessed with nutrition, so quesadillas are only on the list once a week lol

Uhh well I thought I posted... But apparently I didn't? Or Guru's servers are on he fritz again... Anyways.
Both my gf and I try to spend as much time with our families as possible. Currently we are closer to my family so we see them more than we see hers. But for Thanksgiving we are going to her parents so she can see them. We both find family very important.
Took the gf to IHOP last night. Cause she wanted to go. Yup.

I guess when I was younger (about your age pwnd) we did spend more time with our families...however, seeing as I am the youngest and most of my siblings are married--and have moved off to other parts----it keeps getting harder and harder to get together (my having spent 2 years living in japan didnt help matters either)....and my family is pretty large too.
ihop--well there really is no accounting for taste! (though howard johnsons used to make some really good shakes--so sometimes there IS something good at places like that)....our ihop is pretty gross--the pancakes look like they were made at some factory and just plopped into the microwave (and the last time I had them, they tasted like plastic too)....and I can make my own pancakes that I KNOW are fresh .....or we have 3 really good breakfast restaurants close to my house------

Ya, I understand that cosy. It's harder now to get together with family now that I have a job. Luckily with weekends off it isn't as much of a challenge as it is for those who might have to work on the weekends.
The IHOP here is actually really good. You can tell everything is made fresh and delicious too. Had a bacon lovers omelet, it was amazing. So were the 3 pancakes that came with it. Yum yum.

bacon....ewww (I think I should turn jewish or something since I really dont like to eat piggies)....but I understand that others do like it....just never a fan myself (and never will be). glad you had a good time...and yeah, enjoy the times you have now, once your family is ...er, uhm ...larger , you will have less time to spend with your siblings.....
making okonomiyaki for dinner (its a japanese style pancake with cabbage---I make mine seafood flavor)....YUM!

Bacon is good stuff for sure. If you don't want to eat it that just means there is more for me! But yes, we will enjoy our family now. We know as it gets larger, there will be less time.
Took my gf out to a local restaurant here in town. Had some good tenderloins.
